In 2012, I began my freelance career as a computer technician—primarily responsible for
troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining computer hardware and networking
peripherals.
In 2018, I stood at a crossroads in my life. I’d spent years working as a computer technician,
diagnosing hardware
issues and troubleshooting endless software bugs. I enjoyed the problem-solving, but something was
missing—a sense of
creativity, of building something new. I wanted to be a creator, not just a fixer.
A self learner, an Avid Internet Researcher.
So, with equal parts excitement and fear, I decided to dive into web development. I learned to write code that painted vibrant worlds on screens and built applications that breathed life into ideas. The transition was challenging, but it was exhilarating to create something that people could interact with and use every day. I remember launching my first website and watching the page load as if I’d opened a door to an entirely new chapter.
Since then, I've dedicated myself to this craft, constantly learning new languages, frameworks, and technologies. I’ve worked on projects ranging from small business sites to complex web applications, each one a step forward in a career that felt tailor-made for me. And now, looking back on that choice in 2018, I know it was the best decision I could have made. I didn’t just change jobs; I changed my life.
